I’m Evie Laurent, Australian-born with Mediterranean roots, university educated and permanently curious about the world and the people in it. I’ve always been drawn to what sits just outside the ordinary: hidden places, unusual experiences, great food, beautiful art and conversations that somehow continue long after the wine has disappeared.

I’m warm, playful and a little mischievous, with a romantic streak and decidedly hedonistic tendencies. I’m fascinated by how people think and genuinely enjoy discovering the person behind the polished exterior. For me, chemistry begins in the mind. The anticipation, the teasing conversation and that feeling of discovering someone new can be far more intoxicating than anything rehearsed.

I divide my time between Paris and London and travel extensively throughout Europe. I feel equally at home at a gallery opening, in an intimate restaurant, wandering through an unfamiliar city or disappearing somewhere warm for a few days.

My idea of luxury is rarely about extravagance. It’s a slow morning, exceptional food, jazz playing somewhere in the background, bare feet on a hidden beach and having absolutely nowhere else to be.

I particularly favour long, unhurried time together. Enough time for conversation to wander, curiosity to take over and the outside world to become pleasantly irrelevant.

I don't believe every meaningful connection needs a label. Sometimes two people simply meet at exactly the right moment, become completely absorbed in each other's company and leave with something worth remembering.

That is the kind of experience I’m interested in creating.
